The vibrant academic and creative spirit of Nadakkavil Hospital Academy of Paramedical Science (NAPS) was proudly showcased during the official release of the college magazine ‘IVIDAM’ on June 23, 2025. The event was a grand celebration of literature, student talent, and institutional excellence.
The ceremony was inaugurated by the College Chairman, Mr. Muhammed Ali N, who appreciated the dedicated efforts behind the magazine and emphasized the importance of such platforms in nurturing student creativity and communication skills.
The highlight of the event was the official publication of the magazine by renowned writer Mr. P. Surendran, whose literary presence brought inspiration and honor to the occasion. Well-known author Ms. Hasna Yahya also graced the event as a special guest, sharing insightful thoughts about the value of reading and writing in shaping the minds of the next generation.
The event was enriched by the presence of key college dignitaries. College Managing Director Dr. Shafiq Nadakkavil addressed the gathering, commending the editorial team for bringing the magazine to life and encouraging students to continue exploring their literary interests.
Further addresses were delivered by Registrar Mr. Mansoor Ali, Principal Mrs. Nasla Shareef, and College HR Manager Mrs. Suhana, all of whom appreciated the initiative and highlighted the magazine as a platform that reflects the college’s commitment to holistic education.
The editorial and organizing team played a pivotal role in the successful publication of ‘IVIDAM’. Staff Editor Ms. Shahana Nasreen, Student Editor Mr. Muhammed Jihan, and Magazine Coordinator Mrs. Fairoos worked tirelessly to ensure quality content and smooth execution. Magazine Chairman Mr. Abdul Azeez also addressed the students, expressing his gratitude to all contributors and encouraging student participation in future editions.
Titled ‘IVIDAM’—meaning “Here”—the magazine represents a space for student voices, creativity, and expression. It features articles, poems, essays, artworks, and campus highlights that collectively showcase the diverse talents within the NAPS community.
