വേരുകൾ – MAGAZINE 2025-2026

The Nadakkavil Hospital Academy of Paramedical Sciences proudly hosted the release of its annual college magazine, “വേരുകൾ – കാലത്തിന്റെ കൈയ്യെഴുത്ത്”, on 7 August 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Doctors’ Club, Valanchery. The programme was organised under the leadership of the Jwala College Union 2025–26, bringing together students, faculty members, management representatives and distinguished guests to celebrate the creativity and collective efforts of the college community.

The programme commenced with a prayer, followed by a warm welcome address by Ms. Farsana V. P (Staff Editor). The gathering was presided over by Ms. Nasla Shareef, Principal, NAPS Academy, who highlighted the importance of providing students with platforms to express their ideas, creativity and perspectives beyond the classroom.

The magazine was officially inaugurated by Dr. R. Mohammed Ali N, Chairman, NAPS Academy. The release marked a significant moment for the student community, celebrating their literary, artistic and creative contributions.

The programme was honoured by the presence of Mr. Nazer Irimbiliyam, a distinguished Journalist, Writer and Poet, as the Chief Guest. His presence added special significance to the occasion, inspiring students to recognise the power of words, creativity and responsible expression. He interacted with the gathering and encouraged students to continue nurturing their talents in writing, literature and the arts.

A felicitation session was also conducted to acknowledge the support and contributions of the individuals who have played an important role in the academic and institutional development of NAPS Academy. The felicitation was extended to Dr. Riyas K. T, Medical Superintendent, Nadakkavil Hospital; Dr. Shafeeq Nadakkavil, Managing Director, NAPS Academy; Ms. Riya Varghese, HR, NAPS Academy; Mr. Mansoor V. T, HR, NAPS Academy; Mr. Jouhar Ali Ahamead, Secretary, NAPS Academy; Mr. M. Jihan T. H, Student Editor; Ms. Shahanas, Magazine Coordinator; and Mr. Abdul Basith, Sub Editor.

The magazine team, comprising students and staff, was appreciated for its dedication and creative contribution towards bringing the publication to life. “വേരുകൾ – കാലത്തിന്റെ കൈയ്യെഴുത്ത്” reflects the thoughts, memories, talents and aspirations of the NAPS community, while celebrating the values and experiences that form the roots of student life.

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Ms. Jasna Mol K. P, Vice Chairperson, expressing gratitude to the management, dignitaries, faculty members, students and everyone who contributed to the successful organisation of the magazine release programme.

The magazine release was not merely the launch of a publication, but a celebration of student creativity, collective effort and the enduring connection between education, expression and culture. It stands as a memorable chapter in the academic journey of NAPS Academy and the Jwala College Union 2025–26.
