The ATHLON 2024–2025 Sports Meet at Nadakkavil Hospital Academy of Paramedical Science was a vibrant and energetic three-day event held on the college grounds from January 6, 2025. With enthusiastic participation from students, the event promoted physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship across various disciplines.
The sports meet commenced with indoor games on the first day, featuring Chess and Badminton, setting the tone for the competitions ahead. Participants showcased sharp strategic thinking and agility, with intense matches that kept the spectators engaged.
On the second day, excitement soared as the much-anticipated football tournament was held. The Emerald team delivered an impressive performance and secured a victory in the day’s matches. Later, the Sapphire team claimed the win in football, adding more thrill and balance to the inter-house competitions.
The third and final day of ATHLON was a grand celebration of athleticism and college spirit, with events running from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The highlight of the day was the inauguration of the Olympic Torch, symbolizing unity and excellence. The torch was lit by distinguished guests: Dr. Muhammed Ali, Hospital Managing Director; Dr. Shafiq Nadakkavil, College Managing Director; Mr. Muzaffir Ali, Former Chairman; and Mr. Mohammed Rashiq, Sports General Captain.
Their presence and inspiring words added prestige and motivation to the occasion. The final events witnessed remarkable enthusiasm and sportsmanship from all participants, creating lasting memories and camaraderie among students.
At the close of the third day, the ATHLON 2024–2025 sports meet was successfully concluded, celebrating not just the winners but also the spirit of participation, perseverance, and unity. The event highlighted the institution’s commitment to holistic student development through both academic and extracurricular excellence.
