- Clinical laboratory testing plays a crucial role in the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of disease.
- Clinical laboratory technicians perform BIO- chemical, biological, hematological, immunological, microscopic,Histopathology,Cytology, bacteriological tests and various sectors .
- They are also involved in immunologic testing of blood cross matching in blood in blood banks.

- Work as laboratory technologist at hospitals, Pharmaceutical laboratories, Public Health laboratories,
- Supervisor in laboratories,( technical supervisor)
- Blood bank technologist
- Tutor/Teaching faculty in allied health institutes
