MEDICAL IMAGING TECHNOLOGY (RADIOLOGY) (B.Sc)

B.Sc in Medical Imaging Technology aims to provide training in all the aspects of diagnostic imaging.

Duration

  • 4years (3years+ 1year Internship)

Eligibility

  • +2 Science with Physics. Chemistry, Biology, English.

Scope of Study

  • Medical Imaging Technologist perform the diagnostic imaging tests on patients, thus aiding in accurate diagnosis of diseases. Students will be trained to perform complex radiological procedures like X-ray and related diagnostic procedures like Barium Studies, HSG, RGU/MCU, IVU etc. They will also be trained to perform Computerized Tomography (CT scans), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). They will also be trained to assist CT/ MRI guided procedures.
